How to manage startup programs in windows 10: There will be many programs which starts when system boots up. Some may be required programs or services which required to run at start-up.
Many applications by default including a component to starts when you boot your computer. This will slow booting time and also continues to run in the background which eats up valuable system resources.
If those are redundant on your computer and want to boost your system’s performance then you are required to manage start-up programs on your system.
Note: There will be some required programs which are required to be run while start-up to run the windows perfect. Hence be cautious while removing any program from start-up list.
Step by step process to manage start-up programs list as below.
Goto taskbar–> right-click–> select Task Manager
You can also access the Task Manager using below options
- Search “Task” (without quotes) in the windows search box beside windows start icon
- Click “Windows key + X” on keyboard and select Task Manager” option from the menu items
If Task Manager open up in compact view by default, then click “More details” option.
Select “Startup” view tab to see all the startup programs list.
Select your desired program and click on “Disable” button which will be there in bottom right corner. This action will make sure that program won’t get run while startup from next system booting onwards.
